Podcasting & Audio/Video Production – Learning Opportunities for Youth
At The Legacy KolleKtive, we’re giving young people the mic — and the skills to use it. Through our podcasting and audio/video recording programs, youth ages 10–18 will learn how to express themselves, tell their stories, and create powerful content that inspires, educates, and elevates.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in:
- 🎙️ Podcast Hosting & Interviewing – Learn how to plan episodes, ask great questions, and lead engaging conversations
- 🎧 Audio Engineering – Understand microphones, mixers, sound editing, and how to produce clean, professional audio
- 🎥 Video Production & Filming – Learn the basics of framing, lighting, camera angles, and capturing compelling footage
- ✍️ Scriptwriting & Storytelling – Develop voice, structure, and confidence in creating authentic content
- 📤 Editing & Publishing – Use beginner-friendly tools to edit audio/video and publish on platforms like Spotify or YouTube
- Participants will gain hands-on experience in:storytelling can shift culture and build legacy
Creative expression gives youth a safe outlet to release emotions, process challenges, and feel seen. Whether through music, podcasting, or art, they learn to turn pain into power and confusion into clarity. As they create, they heal—and with each project, their confidence grows. They begin to believe in their voice, their story, and their ability to shape their own future.
